Premiering in the Animation Showcase of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, we are extremely pleased to present Adrien Merigeau’s poetic ode to familial legacy. Working with collaborator Alan Holly and the support of Irish animation arm Cartoon Saloon, Merigeau and company set out to create a hierarchy free-environment, in which all creative forces are free to do what they feel is best. What results is a film that looks and sounds like all their friends. In fact, the score was even composed and performed by Adrien’s own parents! The programming staff kindly invites you to experience ‘Old Fangs,’ and take note of an emerging talent making his Festival debut.”
