In fact, the only possible profit to be made from the release was a plea for fans who enjoyed the creation to donate to one of three possible charities that Green Day have been known to support.”

Le compagnie discografiche sono ormai in pieno delirio, incapaci di gestire un nuovo mercato multimiliardario, quello della musica online, se non attraverso minaccie legali e rootkit molto meno legali. Il bannerino lo metto con l’intima convinzione che non serve a un cazzo. Questi sono andati, fine. Anche il “mashup” Google Maps/Risiko ha avuto vita breve: la Harsbro, detentrice dei diritti di sfruttamento del gioco in scatola, ha inviato il suo bravo cease & desist, quando chiunque dotato di buon senso si sarebbe fregato le mani per l’insperata pubblicità al gioco (peraltro assai vetusto).
Io nel frattempo ho scaricato Cease & Desist del DJ Morgan Page, album zeppo di musica non autorizzata. Questa è la tracklist:
